"Las notificaciones de unos paquetes certificados" Supongo que quieres decir los "Avisos de Recibo".
Normalmente los avisos de recibo suelen tardar bastante más en llegar que una carta ordinaria, puesto que van por línea básica pero tanto en origen como en destino se clasifica casi siempre lo último y dandole muy poca prioridad, pero bueno, para eso está el Localizador de Envios en www.correos.es
Los avisos de recibo no tardan mas que una carta en ser devueltos por pertenecer a la línea básica , las cartas también pertenecen a esta línea.. además tienen un precio superior por la recoleccion de datos para el remitente como nombre y apellidos fecha parentesco firma del destinatario o persona autorizada firma del cartero y sello de la oficina en la cual ha sido entregado el certificado. Hay tres líneas la basica la urgente y la economica y las cartas y AR pertenecen a la basica asi que ese no es el motivo de la tardanza. El motivo es que los AR se envian a los centros de control para verificar que estan bien cumplimentados y si no lo estan devolverlos a las UR para corregir lo que falte de cumplimentar, una vez corregido todo esto se devuelve al remitente del envio.

Con respecto a tu pregunta, de como esta correos, como dice la canción "Todo depende..." Y depende de tantas cosas que tu mismo las estas viendo continuamente. Como es el caso de que te den un pueblo sobre dimensionado. Y cuando antes lo repartía un cartero para una cantidad de población si ahora se dobla la población lógico seria que doblara también él numero de carteros.
Creo que el primer comentario no se refería al acuse de recibo sino al aviso de llegada. Y con respecto a este de un paquete postal certificado. Estos han ido de mal a peor, Antes recuerdo que se anotaban en el libro, se dejo de hacerlo y ahora ya ni se anotan en las hojas de reparto, y como tu dices ahora no se da prioridad, pues no me parece muy correcto porque en la mayoría de los avisos esta puesta la fecha limite de recogida del paquete
